Dr. Joyce Namirimo Tamale

Dr. Tamale is the Vice Chair person of the Board of UgandaRe and chairs the Finance, Investments & Administration Committee of the Board of Uganda Re. She is a passionate and strategic leader with 20 years’ working experience in the Private and Social sector. A Professional Accountant, Sustainability Expert and a Strategist with wide experience serving on different Boards. She currently chairs the Board of Forum for women in Democracy (FOWODE) and serves on other Boards such as Humentum USA, Institute for Social Transformation, and also chaired the ACCA Members network panel, Uganda Health Marketing Group as the Managing Director and Land and Equity Movement in Uganda. Dr Tamale is a Fellow and of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) UK, she holds an Honorary Doctorate Degree from the Swiss School of Business Management (SSBM) Geneva, a Master’s in Public Health from John Hopkins University Baltimore USA, a Master’s in Business Administration from ESAMI, and BCOM from Makerere University Kampala.
